Shipping and delivery
How long does it take?
We illustrate your book and check every page by hand within one working day, then it is printed and sent. Order today and it arrives 12–17 November with standard delivery, or 10 November with express. How long each step takes: 1 day: we create and check your book · 2–5 days: printing · 3–6 days: delivery.
Will it arrive before Christmas?
Order by 3 December with standard delivery, or by 10 December with express, for delivery by 23 December. These dates already include our time to illustrate and check the book, printing, and a few extra days for the Christmas post.
Where do you deliver?
To Greece, Cyprus and every other EU country. Standard shipping: €6.90 per order, free from 2 books or orders over €80.00. Express: €9.90, or €3.00 on top of free standard shipping. VAT included.
Your photos and privacy
What happens to my child's photo?
It is used only to illustrate your book. It is stored privately, never shown publicly, and deleted 30 days after delivery. You can ask us to delete it sooner from your order page.
Who sees the photo?
Our small team and the image service that draws the illustrations. We never use your photos for advertising or to train anything.
What makes a good photo?
One child, face clearly visible, looking at the camera, in daylight, without sunglasses or a hat. A second photo from another angle helps.
The book and printing
What does the book look like?
A 20 x 20 cm hardcover with a matt finish, 30 pages of 170 g silk paper, with four colouring pages at the back.
Can I see it before it is printed?
Yes. You see the cover, the dedication and sample pages while you personalise, and the whole text before you pay. Every book is checked page by page before it's printed. Once it goes to print, you can see every page on your order page.
Can I order the same book twice?
Yes. An extra printed copy costs €29.00, which is nice for grandparents.
What if a page isn't quite right?
Every book is checked page by page before it's printed. If an illustration needs it, we draw it again.
Can I order it as a gift without a photo?
Yes. Tick «Buying as a gift?» on the photo step. After you pay you get a private link for the parent to send the photo (we can email it to them). We start drawing as soon as it arrives.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes: worth one book or an amount you choose, as a printable card with a code. It is ready as soon as you've paid, and the code works at checkout.
Returns
Can I return a personalised book?
Because each book is made for your child, it can't be returned for a change of mind. That is why you check the names and the text before you pay. Every book is checked page by page before it's printed. If it arrives damaged or faulty, write to us.
What if it arrives damaged?
Send us a photo of the damage within 14 days and we reprint and resend it free of charge.
