Who we are
Ramentales sells personalised illustrated books and gifts online, in Greece and the EU. The seller is KOS VIEW P.C., trading as Ramentales (VAT EL803074205 · GEMI 188766020000); its full details are at the end of this page. Contact: hello@ramentales.com.
What we sell
Personalised picture books (hardcover and softcover), the colouring book of your book, the book as a PDF, prints and gifts made from your book or your photos (posters, mugs, family and pet portraits), and gift vouchers. Each product page says what is included, the format and the delivery time.
How the pictures are made
The pictures are made with AI image tools from the photo you upload. Every book is checked page by page before it's printed. An illustration is a drawing, not a photograph: it is made to look like your child, but small differences in features, hair or clothes are part of the style and are not a fault.
The free cover preview
When you upload a photo and give your consent in the book creator, we make a preview of the cover with your child, free, while you finish the other steps. A preview is not an order and you don't have to buy. Each email address can have at most two previews a day. If you don't buy, the preview and our copy of the photo are deleted after 7 days. If you buy, the book is finished from the preview.
Your photos and permission
You confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian, or that they agreed, and that you may use every photo you upload, including photos of other family members or of pets. Please don't upload photos of other people's children. We use the photos only to make your order (see the privacy notice).
Orders and payment
Your order is confirmed when the payment succeeds; you get an email with a link to your order page. Payments are handled by Viva (Viva Payments, a licensed payment institution in the EU) or, in some countries, by Stripe: cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and the other methods shown at checkout. We never see your card details.
Prices
Prices include VAT and are shown in your market's currency. Shipping is shown before you pay. A discount code, a gift voucher or store credit is applied at checkout; if they cover the whole amount, no payment is taken.
Gift vouchers
A gift voucher is valid for 24 months from purchase and can be used for any order, in one go or over several orders until its balance is spent. It cannot be exchanged for cash. If the shop stops trading, unused balances will be refunded.
Buying a book as a gift
You can buy a book without a photo. After payment, the child's parent receives a private link (or you forward it) to upload the photo and give consent; we start the pictures only then. The link stays open until the photo arrives, and after 48 hours we send one reminder. If no photo comes, contact us: you can then cancel for a full refund.
Our check before printing
Every book is checked page by page before it's printed. If a page doesn't meet our standard, we make it again before printing, at no cost to you. When the book goes to print you get an email with a view-only preview.
Changes and cancellation
You can correct the names and the text, or cancel for a full refund, until we send your book to print. Please contact us as soon as you can at hello@ramentales.com.
Delivery
Books and gifts are printed by our printing partner close to you and shipped to the address you give. Delivery times are estimates; the Christmas order dates are shown on the site and at checkout. If a parcel is lost, see the returns page.
Personalised goods and the right of withdrawal
Personalised books and gifts are made to your specification and are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c), and the Greek consumer law that applies it). Gift vouchers and the PDF follow the rules shown on their pages. Faulty or damaged items are always reprinted free of charge.
Using your book
The book and its pictures are for your family's private use: you may share photos of them with friends and family. We will not use your child's pictures in our marketing unless you agree separately. The stories, layouts and our brand remain ours.
Referral programme
After your first paid order you get a personal code and link. A friend who uses it on their first order gets €5 off one book. When that friend's order has shipped, you get €10 of store credit for anything in our shop, valid for 12 months. Store credit cannot be exchanged for cash, sold or transferred. One reward per new customer: we check the email address and the delivery address, and there is no reward for using your own code or for a friend who has ordered before. Amounts in other currencies are shown at checkout. We may stop or change the programme at any time; rewards already earned stay valid. We refuse rewards that come from misuse (for example fake orders or orders that are cancelled or refunded). A referral link keeps its code in a cookie for 30 days (see the cookies page).
Affiliate programme
Partners we work with get their own code. A customer using an affiliate code gets the discount shown at checkout (usually 10% off books). The partner earns the agreed commission (usually 12% of the order value without VAT and shipping) only on orders that have shipped and were not cancelled or refunded. Commission is paid against a statement we send; the partner agreement sets the details. Partners must say clearly that they earn a commission. Codes may not be used for paid search on our brand name, for spam or on coupon sites without our written consent.
Liability, complaints and law
Your rights as a consumer under EU and Greek law are not affected by these terms. If something goes wrong, write to hello@ramentales.com and we will answer within 14 days. You can also turn to the Hellenic Consumer Ombudsman (Συνήγορος του Καταναλωτή). These terms are governed by Greek law; the courts of your place of residence also remain available to you.
